Booking Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions between Connect Conference & Events Ltd and you when you purchase a ticket or register for Fitness & Wellness Summit.

CONFERENCE ORGANISER

Fitness & Wellness Summit is being organised by Connect Conference & Events Ltd, a wholly Irish-owned company, which is in the main business of organising Conferences and Corporate Events.

DECLARATION OF CONSENT

I hereby give my consent for Connect Conference & Events Ltd to collect, process and use my personal data for the purposes of processing the purchase of my ticket and for any other use to which I have consented, including the importation of contact information for which I have provided my explicit prior consent.

This information will be used for the purposes of processing ticket sales and sharing marketing information regarding the event to our attendees.

  1. Registration Fees

All bookings made prior to the conference must be paid in full to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received a confirmation email will be sent with your confirmation of booking. This confirmation email is your ticket.

An official VAT receipt is upon request for all registered delegates after full payment.

  1. Cancellation Policy

We cannot offer refunds, however, we do allow ticket transfers without a fee. No-shows will be charged the full fee. If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.

  1. Substitution Policy

Delegate substitutions are allowed once you have notified a member of the Fitness & Wellness Summit team 48 hours before the planned event start time. Please notify us of the new delegates name with their email address via email to info@fitnesswellnesssummit.com.

BADGE

  1. Liability

While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the conference elements as published, Connect Conference & Events ltd. reserves the right to cancel the event, change event dates, location/sites, dietary options or omit event features, as it deems necessary.

Connect Conference & Events Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of the Fitness & Wellness Summit. Connect Conference & Events Ltd shall assume no liability in the circumstances that an event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of the event impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency. In the event that the Fitness & Wellness Summit is cancelled as a result of a fortuitous event, the event will be rescheduled, and your booking will be transferred to the new date and in such situations no refunds (full or partial) or alternative offers shall be given to the participant or his/her organization.

We will endeavour to notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any postponements or changes by posting the updated information on fitnesswellnesssummit.com.

If the Conference is postponed, we will provide you with substitute passes for the new event. Connect Conference & Events ltd. will not accept liability for any losses and/or damages registered participants may suffer due to event alteration (including, without limitation, travel, accommodation and other expenses).

In the unlikely event of cancellation without postponing, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the refund of paid fees that remain after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted, and we will not be liable to you for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation (including, without limitation, travel, accommodation and other expenses).

  1. Conference Agenda

Connect Conference & Events Ltd reserves the right to amend any part of the conference programme. While we try to make sure that the Conference programmes, speakers, topics are correct at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate substitutions, alterations, postponements, or cancellations to the content, format, themes, name, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, timing or dates of the Conference.

The organisers do not accept responsibility for any inconvenience due to non-availability or non-access to any speakers due to room capacity restrictions. We advise arriving to presentations early to avoid disappointment.

  1. Photography and Filming

For promotional purposes there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the conference. By attending the conference, you have consented to photography and video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Connect Conference & Events Ltd Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future.

  1. Insurance

The conference organizers cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
